As part of the project “Development of software for contextualization of the industrial environment using mixed reality in energy and transport “, marked KK.01.2.1.02.0296, within the Call “Increasing the development of new products and services arising from research and development activities – phase II” jointly implemented by the company CITUS and the Faculty of Graphic Arts in Zagreb, a workshop was held for students of the Faculty of Graphic Arts in Zagreb.
A workshop was held as part of the “Digital Multimedia” academic course titled: “How can augmented reality enrich the information about printed material?”. The workshop demonstrated the possibilities of using MRAssistant-GRF, a special version of the MRAssistent platform to implement educational programs within the undergraduate and graduate student programs of the Faculty of Graphic Arts in Zagreb. Students could try out virtual 3D object management in augmented/mixed reality for themselves and add multimedia content that refined printed material with multimedia content using AR/MR technologies.
